I am super excited to announce that NYX is going on sale at hautelook! I myself am stocking up on a few things that I have been wanting to try, such as these products. (They have been on my wish list for waaaay too long. Also, the palette was normally $45.00 and is on sale for $27.00...NOT BAD!)
You can click here to check out the sale HERE!
Here's just a look at some of my most wanted NYX products!
This lip trio is on sale for $11.00, Normally $18.00
This Lip Trio is on sale for $11.00, Normally $18.00
This Lip Trio is on sale for $9.00, Normally $15.00
The Curve has been in so many magazines...This is def. what I'm getting! (I could always use help with my liquid liner.) This kit is on sale for $17.00 Normally $28.00.
Also on my Super-Want List: This trio of Blush Sticks for only $11.00, Normally $18.00
As you may have seen in many of my tutes, the NYX Eyeshadow Base is AHMAYZIING! This set is going for $12.50, and it Normally runs for $21.00 (seriously a GREAT deal!)
This Palette is on sale for $27.00, and it Normally runs for $45.00 (Not bad if you need more bold and nude shades! The palettes are always SUPER pigmented as well.)
Hautelook has a never budging shipping rate of $6.95. Which is wonderful if you order a bunch of stuff.
The only downfall is that it usually takes 2-3 weeks for your order to reach your residence. This is because Hautelook actually places the order with the companies themselves, and the company sends it to them. (They have a deal worked out with each other.) I have ordered many times, and I am so glad that I have! The Pixi Pop sale had me going nuts, lol. I loved ALL of the products I had purchased. Let me know what you guys are lusting after! I might order it and review it, however, at these prices, it might be best to purchase whatever it is that has your eye!

Elf Essential Glitter Eyeshadow and Swatches!
Elf has outdone itself AGAIN! I am absolutely in love with this product. It reminds me of the Urban Decay shadows that I have from my palettes. Although the Elf shadows have a small amount of fallout and are a tad chalky, if you don't mind that at all you are going to LOVE these! They blend easily, they are beautifully pigmented, and are a new staple in my collection. You get an amazing amount of product for $2.00, and they are worth every penny!
While reading reviews on this product, I was expecting something different. I'm glad that I gave them a shot anyways though. One reviewer stated that these were just like the Elf Mineral Eyeshadow. NO THEY ARE NOT! The Elf Mineral Eyeshadow products are finely milled, with a lightweight consistency and they have finely milled SHIMMER constantly throughout the pigmentation. The Glitter Eyeshadows have a different consistency, just a tad thicker, and although they are finely milled as well, the glitter is more glitter than shimmer, and is dispersed more sparingly throughout the product. You will see more color than glitter, which is not so of the Mineral Eyeshadow.
With that being said, I do love these. I own all of the shades of the Glitter Eyeshadow and the Mineral Eyeshadow (Pressed and loose) and I enjoy them all. When combined with a primer, these colors last ALL DAY. No joke guys. I would suggest using a primer anyways for ANY and ALL eyeshadow, regardless of shade, brand, etc. I actually did a nice nude look using a few of these and it turned stunning! I will be posting it sometime in the near future.
Here are the swatches:
Starting from the Purple shade on top, clockwise: Flirt, Nature Girl, Beachy Chic, Night Owl, Angel, Party Animal, Shopaholic, Cowgirl
Night Owl and Beachy Chic.

My AWESOME EBAY EYELINER FIND!
Oh snap! I stumbled across these on eBay, and I thought, "for under $5.00, I'll give it a shot!"
I am SO glad that I did! This kit comes with 12 eye/lip/brow liners. I use all of them for eyeliner, personally. They are smooth and creamy, rich in pigmentation (the cobalt blue isn't as rich as the others, but you can build the color up with a few swipes) and they are GORGEOUS! on eBay, you can find them if you write this in the search bar:

However, there is ONLY one of them with glitter, and that's the gold shade. The rest are chrome and matte.
Here are some swatches:
I absolutely LOVE these! And under 5 bucks!? Seriously? Oh yeah. These are pencils, so they need sharpening. They are so blendable and smooth...no pulling or tugging of the skin, light and creamy, and they last all day. I tried to find out more about the company, and I was unable to come up with much at all. So I hope that I can find more of the brand on eBay, since these are amazing and I'm very much desiring more of their products! I simply cannot wait to use these in my upcoming tutorials!!!

My List Of Affordable Nude Eyeshadow palettes!
"I want a nude eyeshadow palette, but there are so many choices!"
We have ALL been there. I have quite a few myself, and I ended up purchasing so many because I didn't really know what I was looking for, which palette would compliment my skin tone best, and honestly which one would be perfect for me. I hope that I can aid in your hunt for something that compliments you and makes you happy.
Know your budget! There are SO many palettes ranging from super cheap to pretty expensive. What is a realistic budget for you? Don't go hungry over a palette. If you are mentally/emotionally sold on the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, visit Sephora or Ulta, see them in person, swatch the colors, make sure that it compliments your skin tone. There is absolutely nothing wrong with researching a product before you purchase it. If $50.00 is a bit steep, try looking at other options. I hear that the NYX Nude on Nude Eyeshadow palette is VERY similar to the original Naked Palette. I do not own the original, only the second...so I can't personally compare swatches with my NYX Palette. I CAN tell you that the NYX Palette is a WONDERFUL palette, very pigmented, super blendable and costs WAY less. It has a great variety of mattes and shimmers. You can pull off a matte smoky eye, a matte neutral eye, a shimmery smoky eye, and a shimmery neutral eye with this palette. It also comes with nude shade lippies. 10 lipsticks and 20 nude eyeshadow shades. This palette runs for about $20.00 on amazon.com.

Know what you will use most! So let's say that you want a vast array of nude eyeshadow shades, but you also love color as well. So maybe a palette that has BOTH would work better for you in the long run. You would only have to purchase one palette to rule them all. So something like the NYX Box of Eye Shadows 112 colors would be your weapon of choice! The whole top layer of this palette is beautiful nude shades. Shimmery shades, matte shades, all super pigmented and easy to blend. The bottom slides out to reveal some bight reds, pinks, blues, yellows, oranges, purples and greens...even neon shades. With this palette, you are getting so many makeup looks in one amazing box and for an amazing price. (I purchased mine on amazon.com for about $23.00)

Elf Precision Liquid Eyeliner!
Oh boy! I'm going to admit something fiercely humiliating: I am absolutely HORRIBLE when it comes to applying liquid eyeliner on myself as well as others. Yep. I'm a makeup artist whose worst fear is doing so. I'm so scared I'm going to stab someone in the eye and murder their sight. This is for serious. I'm kind of klutzy in real life guys...if there was a way to choke on a single grain of rice...I'd be the one to find it. Sorry to crush your image of me guys. I'm so very ungraceful. Sooo I had been trying this liquid eyeliner shit out for a while, and I've failed at every attempt for YEARS. This side is too thick, that side became to thick when I was trying to make it as thick as the other, yada yada, now my whole eyelid is black, oh wait, how in the heck did I get that on the carpet, my arm, my shirt!? Watching me attempt to apply this intimidating product is like watching a drunken clown juggling chainsaws...NOT pretty.
Well, I *ahem* have been practicing. For a while. Okay, for like 5 years. I'll admit that I suck, alright? BUT this little $3.00 product has given me a small glimmer of hope! The applicator brush isn't too thin, and it isn't too thick. It's small enough to give me a VERY thin line, (YES! I CAN do this!) Or, a thick line as well. The brush is more sturdy than some of the other liquid eyeliners I've tried. It's a reasonable length too. I am very happy about that! I can control the amount far easier and it doesn't stray. It goes where I tell it to. It didn't flake on me, it actually stayed put...even when I fell asleep meditating. (I didn't mean to, I was super tired!) I awoke the next day to low and behold--it was there. Perfectly. Unsmudged lines in all of their glory. I promptly washed my face, but I was surprised that out of ALL of the eyeliners I had tried, pricey AND cheap, this little tube of awesome STAYED IN PLACE. I seriously thought this wasn't going to do anything for me. Well now I've been practicing more regularly! I'm still not great at it, but I'm going to keep trying with all of my might! If I get pretty good at this stuff, I'm going to replace my black gel liners in my tutorials with this stuff. Baby steps first though, ya know? Thanks to this product, my arms, shirt, carpet, whole eyelids have been spared. I'm going to keep trying guys!
